Miss Nebraska Announces Partnership with TeamMates Mentoring
TeamMates Mentoring and the Miss Nebraska Organization are proud to team up in support of Mentoring and Literacy among Nebraska students. TeamMates Mentoring was co-founded by Dr. Tom Osborne and his wife Nancy in 1991 and since then more than 49,000 matches have been made. TeamMates mission is to impact the world by inspiring students to reach their full potential through mentoring. TeamMates Mentoring currently supports nearly 10,000 matches in a five-state area (Nebraska, Kansas, Iowa, South Dakota and Wyoming).
Since 1937, the Miss Nebraska Scholarship Program has empowered young women to achieve their personal and professional goals. Miss Nebraska offers young women a forum to express their opinions, develop their talents, and showcase leadership and intelligence. Raechel Warren (Miss Douglas County) was crowned Miss Nebraska and Janae Harris (Miss Lincoln’s Teen) was crowned Miss Nebraska’s Teen at the culmination of the annual Scholarship Competition in North Platte on June 8th and will compete for the title of Miss America 2025 and Miss America’s Teen 2025. TeamMates Mentoring is launching a Speakers Bureau that will include speakers from the Miss Nebraska Organization.
