Meet our new Miss Nebraska's Teen Co-Executive Director, Audri Pelton-Johnson

Audri’s excitement for the Miss Nebraska program started at 3 years old when she was pulled up on stage as “filler” before crowning and interviewed by Miss NE 1986. She participated in the inaugural year of the Little Sister’s Program, as a local volunteer, judge, and is the mother of Miss Nebraska’s Teen 2022- Alexandra Thompson and Princess Cora.

Audri taught in the elementary and middle schools for 8 years and has been a school counselor for the last 2 years. Audri spent 10 years as high impact/volume Store Manager at Victoria’s Secret in Omaha, NE. She acted as the Region 210 Visual Merchandise Trainer traveling from Manhattan to Las Vegas coaching and developing teams, serving as temporary district manager, and as part of the district manager in training program focusing on building a legacy of talent through the growth in social and emotional intelligence. She has also spent time on the board for the North Platte Children’s Museum and as a high school dance team coach and Pre-K/K dance instructor.  Her Clifton Strengths are Futuristic, Strategic, and Relator. Audri enjoys spending time with her girls and husband Joe traveling, the theatre, trying new restaurants, and spending time in the sun at Lake McConaughy.

Fun Fact: If I was an animal I’d be a raccoon because I am very curious, love snacks, wear lots of eyeliner, and stay up way late!
